Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it truly is alarmed with regards to the superior quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The support level established for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more means here to empower the servicing of all clients and maximize entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
